Third Operation Fly Formula Flight Arranged for First Shipment of Formula into the United States

United States / National – President Biden announced on June 1, 2022, that his administration had arranged the third Operation Fly Formula flight for the first shipment of Kendamil infant formula into the United States. United Airlines has agreed to transport multiple shipments of Kendamil formula from London’s Heathrow Airport to airports across the country for free over a three-week period. These flights are the first to be donated by an airline for Operation Formula Flights. Xavier Becerra, Secretary of Health and Human Services in the United States, issued the following statement:

“Together, with public- and private-sector partners, HHS is working around the clock to ensure that parents have the formula they need to feed their infants. The way United Airlines has stepped up to the plate by donating its services is an important step forward in Operation Fly Formula.”
