Temporary Traffic Signal at LA 27 and Mosswood Drive in Sulphur to Be Activated May 5

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced the installation of a temporary traffic signal at the intersection of LA 27 (Beglis Parkway) and Mosswood Drive in Sulphur, Louisiana.

The anticipated activation date of the signal is Tuesday, May 5, 2020, with activation dependent on weather conditions.

The installation of the temporary signal is in coordination with the Calcasieu Parish Department of Public Works and is anticipated to help alleviate congestion related to the upcoming parish bridge replacement project on Patton Street. The signal will be active for the duration of the project. The project is expected to be complete in Summer 2021.
