Temporary All-Way Stop at Intersection of Phillips Road and Davis Road in Westlake

UPDATE: The repair is complete, and the signals are operational. The all-way stop is no longer in effect.

The intersection of Phillips Road and Davis Road (LA 378) in Westlake will be temporarily changed to an all-way stop due to a damaged signal pole in the construction area.

The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announces that effective immediately, the intersection of LA 378 (Davis Road) at Philips Road will temporarily change to an all-way stop.

A signal pole was damaged by equipment being used for the ongoing construction project.

The all-way stop will remain in effect until the necessary repairs are made. DOTD is working with the contractor to conduct repairs as quickly as possible and return the intersection to normal operation.

Motorists should expect delays and are encouraged to take alternative routes.

DOTD appreciates your patience and reminds you to please drive with caution through the construction site and be on the lookout for work crews and their equipment.
