Swisco Road Closure in Sulphur for Electric Maintenance Work April 9 - 18, 2019
Swisco Road beginning between Metric Drive and Carbide Drive and ending approximately 4,500 feet to the west will be closed daily from April 9 - April 18, 2019, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 2:30 pm.
The closure is for Entergy maintenance work requiring a 40-ton crane to support lines during work.
Alternate routes:
Business on the east end of Swisco Road may be accessible from Industrial Drive just south of Swisco Road on Cities Service Hwy.

Westbound Traffic
- Detour south 1.75 miles on LA 108 (Citiies Service Hwy) then continue west 2 miles to South Beglis Parkway.
- Travel north 1.37 miles on South Beglis Parkway to Mosswood Road.
- Travel east 0.54 miles on Mosswood Road to Elliswood Drive.
- Travel north 0.36 miles on Elliswood Drive to Swisco Road.
Eastbound Traffic
- Detour South 0.36 miles on Elliswood Drive to Moswood Road.
- Travel west 0.54 miles on Mosswood Road to South Beglis Parkway.
- Travel south 1.37 miles on South Beglis Parkway to LA 108.
- Continue east 2 miles on LA 108 then north on LA 108 (Cities Service Hwy) for 1.75 miles to Swisco Road.
