Shreveport, Louisiana – A suspect in Louisiana was captured by a K-9 after leading police on a high-speed chase in Shreveport.
At approximately 1:39 a.m. on September 2nd, 2023, officers from the Shreveport Police Department responded to a hit-and-run incident that occurred in a parking lot situated at Spring Street and Travis Street. In an attempt to apprehend the suspect, officers located the vehicle and attempted to initiate a traffic stop. However, the driver refused to comply and instead drove erratically, committing multiple traffic violations.
The driver led officers on a high-speed chase that eventually came to an end at the intersection of Williamson Street and Pete Harris Street. At this point, the driver promptly fled the scene on foot.
Shreveport Police K-9, “Enzo,” was deployed and successfully captured the driver, identified as Lane Frost, 25, who was subsequently charged with Aggravated Flight from an Officer, Felony Hit and Run, and resisting arrest.
Frost received medical attention for minor injuries sustained during the pursuit.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
