Sulphur’s North Water Plant Scheduled for Routine Maintenance, Residents East of Beglis Parkway to Experience Low Water Pressure

Sulphur, Louisiana – In a proactive effort to ensure the continued reliability of its water supply system, the City of Sulphur has announced that the North Water Plant will undergo routine maintenance on Wednesday, June 19th, 2024. The scheduled maintenance is expected to last for approximately six hours, commencing at 10:00 PM and concluding at 5:00 AM.

During this time, residents east of Beglis Parkway may experience low water pressure, although the city assures that this temporary adjustment will not compromise the quality of the water supply. The maintenance is a necessary step to guarantee the integrity of the water treatment process and prevent any potential disruptions to service.

The North Water Plant plays a crucial role in providing clean drinking water to the community, and regular maintenance is essential to maintain the facility’s optimal performance.
