Sulphur Utility Work to Cause Alternating Lane Closures on LA 108 Monday

Sulphur, Louisiana – Motorists traveling on LA 108 in Sulphur can expect disruptions on Monday, November 4, as utility work is scheduled to take place on both the southbound and northbound lanes. The roadwork, set to begin at 10:00 AM and conclude by 2:30 PM, will result in partial lane closures, with the left lane being affected.

According to officials, the closure will be implemented in an alternating pattern, allowing traffic to flow in one direction at a time. The affected area spans approximately 0.08 miles, with the start point located about 0.04 miles north of Swisco Road and the end point situated 0.04 miles south of Swisco Road.

To minimize delays, drivers are advised to plan their route in advance and allow for extra time to reach their destination. Motorists can also consider taking alternative routes to avoid the affected area.
