Sulphur Prepares for Homecoming Parade and Cal Cam Association Parade

Sulphur, Louisiana - The City of Sulphur is gearing up for a fun-filled afternoon as the Sulphur High School Homecoming Parade takes place on Friday, October 18th, 2024. The event promises to bring excitement and entertainment to the community, with the Homecoming parade kicking off at 2:00 p.m. from Sulphur High School.

According to city officials, lineup and road closures will begin at 1:00 p.m. to ensure a smooth and safe experience for participants and spectators alike. The parade route will proceed east on Cypress St. to W.W. Lewis Middle School. Motorists are advised to plan their routes in advance to avoid any inconvenience caused by the road closures.

Immediately following the Homecoming parade, the Cal Cam Association will hold its own parade, starting from S. Ruth Street.

These events are expected to draw a large crowd, and organizers are urging attendees to arrive early to secure a good viewing spot.

Residents are encouraged to come out and support the students, schools, and community organizations participating in the parades.
