Sulphur Police Report Camera Found in Restaurant Restroom, Suspect Arrested

Sulphur, LA – Officers from the Sulphur Police Department responded to an allegation that a video recording device was found in a local restaurant’s women’s restroom on January 11th, 2022. Steven Davis, 56, of Sulphur, was later arrested and charged with Video Voyeurism, and is presently being jailed on a $70,000 bond at the Calcasieu Correctional Center. The recording device was discovered before anyone in the general public was captured on tape, according to Sulphur Police. The Sulphur Police Department recommends everyone to be aware of their surroundings in locations where privacy is assumed, and to report any suspicions of being recorded to your local law enforcement department.
