Sulphur, Louisiana — The City of Sulphur and Sulphur Parks and Recreation have announced plans for the annual Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled for Saturday, April 12, 2025, at Heritage Square in Sulphur.

The family-friendly event will feature activities hosted by local organizations and the Almosta Ranch Petting Zoo from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., providing children with entertainment options before the main egg hunt begins.

At 10:30 a.m., the egg hunts will commence, with staggered start times organized by age group. The organizers have created separate categories to ensure appropriate competition levels: Special Needs, 0-2, 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, and 11-12 years old.

The staggered approach allows organizers to accommodate all participants safely while ensuring each child has an opportunity to collect eggs.

Adding to the excitement, each age group's hunt will include six golden tickets hidden inside random eggs throughout the hunting areas. Children who discover these special tickets can exchange them for prizes.

Local organizations interested in participating in the event are encouraged to contact event coordinators at 337-527-4505 or via email at [email protected] and [email protected].

This community event continues a longstanding tradition in Sulphur, bringing together families for a springtime celebration centered around the Easter holiday.
