Sulphur, Louisiana – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office said on May 13 that they are looking into a hit-and-run incident that took place on Tuesday, May 7 at around 9:00 a.m. at a convenience store on Highway 27 in Sulphur, Louisiana.
Detectives were informed that a truck pulled out from under the gas pump canopy, causing a tractor on the trailer to hit the canopy and result in significant damage. The truck, identified as a white Ford single cab one ton flatbed dually, was towing a red flatbed gooseneck trailer with a yellow front-end loader tractor with a backhoe attachment. The truck then left the store and drove north on Highway 27.
Detectives from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office tried to find the suspect’s truck without success. They are now seeking help from anyone who can recognize the truck in the photo or has information about the case. CPSO is asking anyone with information to call (337) 491-3605.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
