Sulphur City Limb Pickup Service: How to Request, Guidelines, and Updates

By Calcasieu Staff

Published June 07, 2024

Sulphur, Louisiana - In response to inclement weather a few weeks ago, the City of Sulphur has initiated a limb pickup service to assist residents in clearing fallen limbs from their properties. The city has reported that the grapple truck is still actively collecting limbs to maintain the cleanliness and safety of the community.

Residents still in need of limb pickup are encouraged to submit a request through the city's official website by following this link or contacting the Public Works Administration at 337-527-4583. To streamline the process, individuals are advised to place the limbs at the edge of the roadway for easier access by the pickup crew.

There are specific guidelines to adhere to ensure efficient limb removal. Limbs should not exceed 4 inches in diameter and 6 feet in length due to the limitations of the collection equipment. By following these parameters, residents can contribute to the smooth operation of the pickup service.

As the limb pickup service continues, residents are encouraged to cooperate with the guidelines provided by the city.
