Starks High School Placed Under Precautionary Lockdown

On Friday, September 3, 2021, at 2:15 pm the Calcasieu Parish School Board announced that the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has placed Starks High School under a precautionary lockdown due to an incident in the area. The announcement also indicated that all students, faculty, and staff are safe and an update will be released once the lockdown has been lifted and normal activities have resumed.
