Meraux, Louisiana – In December 2024, the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit (LSP-SVU) initiated an investigation into a suspect believed to be in possession of child pornography in St. Bernard Parish. The inquiry culminated in the arrest of 39-year-old Arthur Terry, a resident of Meraux, Louisiana who was taken into custody following the execution of search and arrest warrants at his residence on March 13, 2025.

Arthur Terry was booked into the St. Bernard Sheriff’s Office Prison on multiple charges. These include eleven counts of possession of child sexual abuse material involving victims under the age of 13, as well as one count of sexual abuse of an animal. The investigation remains active, and authorities have not released further details at this time.
