Southwest Louisiana Road Closures Due to Flooding

Southwest Louisiana Road Closures Due to Flooding

Lists of roadways that have been closed or made partially impassable in Southwest Louisiana due to flooding.

This page has lists of closed or partially impassable roadways from multiple state and local agencies. The lists are updated periodically as information becomes available. It only takes about 12 inches of moving water to move most cars and only about 2 feet of moving water can carry away many SUVs and trucks. If you see water on a roadway that is not listed or marked and you do not know how deep it is, turn around, don’t drown.
