Southwest Louisiana Quarterly Job Fair March 30 in Lake Charles
The American Job Center invites all job seekers to attend the Quarterly Job Fair on Wednesday, March 30, from 9:30 a.m. to noon in the Lake Charles Civic Center’s Exhibition Hall, 900 Lakeshore Drive. Job seekers can meet potential employers in person at the job fair and possibly participate in on-the-spot interviews.
Job seekers are strongly advised to dress professionally, bring a photo ID, and several copies of their current resume. Arrive early to ensure that you have the opportunity to meet with employers. There is no need to pre-register. Veterans will be given priority services and should arrive at 9 a.m. to have exclusive access to employers until 9:30 a.m.
Employers can register to participate in the job fair online until Wednesday, March 23 at https://regionvjobfair-march2022.splashthat.com. Employers can participate at no cost.
Furthermore, the Louisiana Workforce Commission Mobile Workforce Center will be on-site during the job fair to assist job seekers with online application submissions, resume writing/printing, skill assessments, and other services.
The American Job Center serves the parishes of Allen, Beauregard, Calcasieu Cameron, Jefferson Davis, and Vernon.
The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, in collaboration with the Workforce Development Board and the Louisiana Workforce Commission, is hosting the job fair. The Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act funds it.
