Southwest Louisiana Human Trafficking Taskforce Announced by Local, State, Federal Agencies

Lake Charles, LA – On January 27, 2022, a Southwest Louisiana Human Trafficking Taskforce was announced that will bring together local, state, and federal resources to help prevent sexual exploitation.
The SWLA Human Trafficking Task Force is made up of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies, prosecutors, as well as local service agencies, and non-profits that work together to prevent sexual exploitation and prosecute human trafficking cases in and around Calcasieu Parish. The task force’s mission is to identify, investigate, and prosecute those responsible for human trafficking, all while providing quality social services to those who become victims of this heinous crime.
The SWLA Human Trafficking Task Force is a joint project including the following organizations:
