Recently there have been many local residents talking about some businesses in Southwest Louisiana starting to charge an extra fee to customers who use credit cards. One person has suggested that a list of restaurants charging the fee be created, while others suggested that customers just bring cash if they want to avoid the fee. There was also a local business owner who offered to educate people on how the complex [credit card] system works.
