Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Special Weather Statement issued for Southwest Louisiana July 10
Lake Charles, Louisiana – On July 10, 2022, at 7 pm, the National Weather Service issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning and Special Weather Statement for Southwest Louisiana. The NWS indicated that severe thunderstorms are moving through the area and winds of up to 50 mph along with hail as large as a half-inch is possible with the storms. Residents are advised to seek shelter in a sturdy structure.
