Seven Suspects from Louisiana Arrested in Baton Rouge on Drug and Firearms Charges
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – The Baton Rouge Police Department reported on January 10, 2023, that their Street Crimes Unit was in the Zion City neighborhood on January 9 at about 4:00 pm when they obtained information through investigative measures of criminal activity in the 5400 block of Cadillac Street.
As officers from the unit sought to make contact with people standing in a yard, they began to run on foot in separate directions. At least two people attempted to flee the scene while armed.
Several people were apprehended and arrested by Baton Rouge police officers and charged with numerous offenses.
Officers also allegedly seized a large number of drugs, an undetermined amount of money, and six guns.
Those arrested include Jeremy Lee, 21, Deondrick Lucas, 18, Tory Minton, 19, L’Bryant McNeely, 18, Seyveyon Moore, 20, Deandre Tate, 32, and LaCourtney Williams, 22.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty.
