Serial Robber in Louisiana Arrested for His Alleged Involvement in Five Robberies in November and December
Baton Rouge, Louisiana – A Louisiana man has been arrested and charged with five counts of armed robbery in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, following a string of armed robberies that took place in the area in November and December 2022. He was apprehended through the use of investigative methods and crime cameras and license plate readers.
On December 27, 2022, the Baton Rouge Police Department reported that Armed Robbery Detectives arrested Kevin Johnson, 55 for his alleged involvement in committing multiple armed robberies that began on November 20, 2022.
According to authorities, Johnson is suspected to have been involved in the following robberies in the Baton Rouge, Louisiana area:
- Dollar General, 6832 Florida Blvd
- Podnuh’s BBQ, 2648 South Sherwood Forest Blvd
- Smoothie King, 10825 Florida Blvd
- Kangaroo Express, 3015 Millerville Rd
- Baskin Robbins, 11222 Florida Blvd
According to police, Johnson was established as a suspect through investigative methods and was apprehended without incident on December 26, 2022. Johnson was charged with 5 counts of Armed Robbery with a Firearm and was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
Crime cameras and LPR-License Plate Readers from the Sherwood Forest Crime District were used in this arrest.
