Senior Citizen’s Fishing Rodeo to be Held by CPSO March 4

Calcasieu Parish – The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office has announced that the Annual Senior Citizen’s Fishing Rodeo will be held on Friday, March 4, 2022, from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the CPSO Farm Pond behind the Calcasieu Correctional Center, located at 5400 E. Broad Street in Lake Charles.

Participants should bring their own chairs and fishing equipment (only one pole per person, please). If requested, the CPSO will assist in baiting the lines, removing fish from the hook, and providing bait for catching fish.

There will be refreshments available. All parish senior citizens 55 and older are invited to attend at no cost. Call 337-491-3737 for more information.
