Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana - As severe weather threatens to bring flooding to Calcasieu Parish, the Police Jury has announced the availability of free sandbags for residents to protect their properties. Residents can visit one of the nine designated locations to collect sandbags but must bring their own shovels to fill the bags provided.
