Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – There is a road closure on LA 3059 at Burson Road near Luke Powers Road due to an equipment failure with an oversized load.
On March 4, 2023, Louisiana State Police reported that LA 3059 is closed at Burson Road in Calcasieu Parish due to a trailer that has split on an oversized load.
Authorities indicated that the closure is expected to last for an extended amount of time as specialized equipment will be required to remedy the situation. Motorists are asked to detour via Luke Powers Road.
