Road Closure At Ham Reid Road and Elliot Road Intersection in Lake Charles Beginning June 14

Lake Charles, Louisiana – The intersection of Ham Reid Road and Elliot Road in Lake Charles will be closed beginning June 14.

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury (CPPJ) has announced that the junction of Ham Reid Road and Elliot Road in Lake Charles, Louisiana will be closed to traffic starting from 6 a.m. on Wednesday, June 14th, due to ongoing roundabout construction. The intersection is expected to reopen at 6 p.m. on Friday, July 14th.

For northbound vehicles, a detour is advised via Gauthier Road, Big Lake Road, and Country Club Road, or alternatively, Gauthier Road and Nelson Road to County Club Road. Southbound drivers should take Country Club Road, Big Lake Road, and Gauthier Road, or, Country Club Road and Nelson Road to Gauthier Road.
