Lake Charles, Louisiana – The American Job Center – Region V is hosting a Quarterly Job Fair for job hunters and businesses. The event will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon, on Wednesday, October 11 at the Exhibition Hall of the Lake Charles Civic Center, 900 Lakeshore Drive. All are invited to attend and participate.
Veterans, who are prioritized for services, are requested to be present at 9 a.m. for exclusive access to meet with employers until 9:30 a.m.
The job fair in Lake Charles provides an excellent platform for employers to interact directly with candidates and carry out immediate interviews.
Those looking for work are highly advised to dress in business attire and carry with them a photo ID as well as multiple copies of their up-to-date resume. It’s also recommended to be there early to ensure the chance to interact with potential employers. There’s no need for pre-registration for job seekers.

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury partners with the Workforce Development Board and the Louisiana Workforce Commission to hold the job fair. The funds come from the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act.
