Public Help Requested in Lake Charles Hit-and-Run Case on Alder Street

Lake Charles, Louisiana - The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office is currently investigating a hit-and-run incident that took place on Alder Street in Lake Charles, between the evening of December 31 and the early morning hours of January 1.

Initial findings from the investigation indicate that a vehicle traveling northbound on Alder Street collided with a parked car, resulting in damage. Further examination revealed that the suspect's vehicle is a silver 2017 Ford Escape, which likely sustained significant damage to the passenger side and front headlight area.

Detectives from the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff's Office are urging anyone with relevant information about this case to reach out to lead investigator Sgt. Casey Steech at 337-491-3846.
