After a four-year closure, the Harbor’s Edge and Indian Bay pavilions at Prien Lake Park have finally reopened to the public. The pavilions, which were damaged during a hurricane in 2020, are now available for rental and are ready to host events and gatherings.

The two pavilions, located within Prien Lake Park in Lake Charles, Louisiana, offer unique amenities and features. Harbor’s Edge is an enclosed, air-conditioned facility with a large reception area and two meeting rooms, making it an ideal venue for corporate events, weddings, and other celebrations. Indian Bay is an open-air facility equipped with large fans for cooling, providing a more casual and relaxed atmosphere.

The Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, which manages the park, has worked diligently to repair and restore the pavilions to their former glory. The police jury is responsible for maintaining and operating the park, which is located at 3700 West Prien Lake Road in Lake Charles.

Those interested in renting either pavilion can contact the police jury by emailing [email protected] or calling 337-721-3540. For more information on Prien Lake Park and other parks managed by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury, visit calcasieu.gov/parks.
