President Donald Trump Has Been Acquitted on Articles of Impeachment

On Wednesday, December 18, 2019, members of the United States House of Representatives voted to impeach 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump.
On February 5, 2020, after a trial in the United States Senate, senators voted mostly along party lines to acquit the president on both articles of impeachment.

Article I of the resolution to impeach Donald Trump is for Abuse of Power. Briefly described, he is described as using the powers of his high office, President Trump solicited the interference of a foreign government, Ukraine, in the 2020 United States Presidential election.
