Possible Merger of Golden Nugget Casinos with Caesars Entertainment
Tilman Fertitta, the sole owner, CEO, chairman and president of Golden Nugget Inc., Landry’s Inc., Fertitta Entertainment, and several other entertainment business ventures reportedly wants to merge Golden Nugget Casinos with Las Vegas-based Caesars Entertainment Corporation.
If it happens, the business transaction will be a reverse merger, with Caesars and their investors acquiring Golden Nugget. This combination would create one of the largest gaming and hospitality companies in the world. People associated with the plans have indicated that Tilman Fertitta would be the chairman and CEO of the new company after the two combines.
