Plan Your Route in Lake Charles: Lane Closures on LA 14 for Maintenance Work

Lake Charles, Louisiana - The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development has announced that there will be alternating closures of the northbound left and right lanes of LA 14 (Gerstner Memorial Blvd.) at the intersection of Derek Dr. Roosevelt St. in Lake Charles, Louisiana.

These closures will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 1, 2023. Additionally, the right lanes of Derek Dr. and Roosevelt St., which approach the intersection, will also be closed during this time.

These closures are necessary for routine maintenance work on the roadway.

Residents in the area should exercise caution when driving, walking, or biking near an active construction zone.
