Pastor in Louisiana Arrested a Second Time for Alleged Sex-Related Offenses Involving Juveniles
St. Bernard Parish, Louisiana – A pastor in Louisiana has been arrested a second time for alleged sex-related offenses involving juveniles.
On April 6, 2023, Louisiana State Police (LSP) confirmed that in November 2022, Troopers launched an extensive investigation that they indicate revealed that 56-year-old Milton Martin III had sexual relations with a juvenile on many occasions between 2010 through 2013, during the ages of 14 and 17. Troopers acquired an arrest warrant for Martin in St. Bernard Parish based on the victim’s accounts.
Martin turned himself in on March 8, 2023, and was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Correctional Center for felony Sexual Battery and Carnal Knowledge of a Juvenile.
Troopers have continued their investigation since the initial arrest and have reportedly learned about an additional victim. Martin allegedly had sexual relations with a 14-year-old victim in 1991, according to the ongoing inquiry. Authorities issued an extra arrest warrant for Martin in St. Bernard Parish based on the victim’s accounts. Martin turned himself in on April 5, 2023, and was booked into the St. Bernard Parish Correctional Center for Indecent Behavior with Juveniles.
Officials stated that this is a continuing investigation and that additional charges may be filed.
