Over 2,000 Customers Still Without Power in Calcasieu Parish June 2, 2019
Some areas of Southwest Louisiana experienced strong winds during a storm that passed through the evening of June 2, 2019. Those winds have knocked out power to over 2,000 customers in Calcasieu Parish alone. Most of the outages are in the Vinton area and the eastern part of Sulphur.
The electric provider has indicated that the estimated restoration time for most customers is June 3 at 1 a.m.
