One From Louisiana Arrested and Authorities Seeking Another in Connection with Molestation of A Juvenile and Cruelty to Juveniles
On August 11, 2022, the Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office reported that on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, detectives arrested Colby Case Manuel, 28, of Louisiana Avenue, in Lake Arthur, Louisiana, on a warrant for molestation of a juvenile and cruelty to juveniles.
According to authorities, detectives received a complaint on July 18, 2022, and obtained an arrest warrant on August 9, 2022.
Also on April 11, 2022, authorities indicated that during the investigation, it was discovered Brooklyn Lafleur Manuel was present during the incident. Detectives have a warrant for Brooklyn Lafleur Manuel, 25, of Louisiana Avenue, in Lake Arthur, Louisiana.
Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to contact the Sheriff’s office at (337) 821-2100.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
