New Traffic Signal in Westlake to Begin Operation on May 5

Westlake, LA – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that a new Traffic Control Signal will begin operation at the intersection of LA 378 and Hudson/National Drive in Westlake on Thursday May 5th, 2022.

All drivers should be aware that when approaching the intersection they must follow the indications of the traffic control signal.

Advance notification will be provided on the intersection approaches with temporary Portable Changeable Message Signs (PCMS) and warning signage.

On the day of installation, stop bars will be added to indicate where motorist must stop in advance of the traffic signal.
