New Restaurant Smalls Sliders Set to Open in Lake Charles
Lake Charles, Louisiana – After sitting vacant for some time, the old Iberia Bank location at 135 McNeese Street in Lake Charles is about to undergo a transformation. The former bank building will soon be torn down to make way for the construction of a new restaurant called Smalls Sliders.
Smalls Sliders is the brainchild of Brandon Landry, the same entrepreneur who founded the popular Louisiana restaurant chain, Walk-On’s. Joining Landry as a business partner in both Walk-On’s and Smalls Sliders is none other than former New Orleans Saints quarterback, Drew Brees.
As the name suggests, Smalls Sliders will specialize in serving up delicious hamburger and cheeseburger sliders. Alongside their signature sliders, the menu will also feature tempting sides such as seasoned waffle fries, queso, and a unique sauce known as Smauce.
Residents of Lake Charles can mark their calendars for the planned opening date of Smalls Sliders, set for mid-June of 2024. Smalls Sliders already has 11 locations in Louisiana and is planning to open another 10 restaurants in the state including the one planned for Lake Charles.
According to their website, Smalls Sliders is also planning to open several locations throughout other states including Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Missouri, South Carolina, and Texas.
Excitement is building as Smalls Sliders gears up to bring their mouthwatering sliders and flavorful sides to Lake Charles. Stay tuned for more updates as this new dining destination prepares to open its doors to eager customers in Southwest Louisiana.
