Sulphur, Louisiana – A new state-of-the-art pool facility has opened to the public at Center Circle Park in Sulphur, offering a range of amenities and activities for Ward 4 Recreation District 2 residents. The facility, which was built to replace the old pool damaged by Hurricane Laura, is now open for the community to enjoy.
The new pool facility features shaded areas, loungers, tables, a slide and springboard, a zero-entry pool, restrooms, and concessions. However, outside food is not allowed in the pool area. The facility is open to Ward 4 Recreation District 2 residents with proof of identification.
The pool’s operating hours for the next four weekends will be Saturdays and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. The facility will close for the season on Sunday, November 3, 2024.
In addition to the pool, the splash pad and playground at Center Circle Park are also open to the public. The new pool facility is a significant improvement over the old one, which was severely damaged by Hurricane Laura and deemed beyond repair.
