Guidry’s Gumbo Shack Now Serving Louisiana Favorites
Guidry’s Gumbo Shack is a new local business owned and operated by Beau and Tressi Guidry. This husband and wife team have created something a little out of the ordinary. Guidry’s Gumbo Shack features a small menu of Louisiana favorites including red beans and rice, potato salad, and of course, gumbo. Their Facebook page also mentions that they carry boudin and hibiscus tea at times. The new business opened on March 16, 2019.
Guidry’s Gumbo Shack is located at 2735 Country Club Rd in Lake Charles and shares a driveway with the Goodwill Donation Center between Walgreens and Country Club Veterinary Clinic across the street from Albertsons. We have included a map in this article if you need directions. You will also be able to order from the restaurant using food delivery service Waitr starting March 23, 2019.

Weekdays (Monday-Friday) from 11 am – 8 pm
These hours will stay in place until the 1st cold front of the year.
