Multiple I-10 and I-210 Lane Closures Scheduled for April 17-20 in Lake Charles and Westlake
Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana – The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development (LADOTD) has announced multiple I-10 and I-210 lane closures scheduled for April 17-20 in Lake Charles and Westlake.
The Louisiana Department of Transportation and Development announced that there will be nightly lane closures along parts of Interstate 10 Westbound on Monday, April 17, 2023, and parts of Interstate 210 Eastbound and Westbound, from Tuesday, April 18, 2023, to Thursday, April 20, 2023.
Interstate 10 Closure Schedule
April 17, 2023:
- The right lane will be closed on I-10 Westbound between PPG Drive and I-10 W to I-210 East Junction (Exit 25) in Westlake, Louisiana. The left lane will be closed on I-10 Westbound – Exit 26 ramp (I-10 WB to PPG Drive) in Westlake, Louisiana. Closures are from 8 p.m.-5 a.m.
- The I-10 West Junction to I-210 East (Exit 25) ramp closure in Westlake, Louisiana will begin at 10 a.m.
April 18, 19, and 20:
The right lane will be closed on I-210 Eastbound and the right lane will be closed on I-210 Westbound between Cove Lane and Nelson Road in Lake Charles. All closures are from 8 p.m.- 6 a.m.
The closures are necessary for crews to install three new sign structures and remove existing structures.
