Lake Charles, Louisiana - Residents of Lake Charles and surrounding communities can look forward to a family-friendly cinematic experience as the Movies with the City program resumes with a free presentation of The Incredibles on Saturday, August 9. The event will take place inside the Rosa Hart Theatre, located at 900 Lakeshore Drive, with doors opening at 5 p.m. and the screening set to begin at 5:30 p.m.

Movies with the City events are organized by the City of Lake Charles and aim to provide accessible entertainment opportunities for the local community. Admission is free and open to the public, offering an affordable option for families and individuals to enjoy a popular animated film in a comfortable, indoor setting. Concessions will be available for purchase, allowing attendees to enjoy classic movie snacks during the show.

Organizers emphasize that all minors must be accompanied by an adult, a rule intended to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests. This policy aligns with standard event management practices for public screenings where children are present.

The Rosa Hart Theatre, a staple venue in Lake Charles, frequently hosts cultural and entertainment events, adding to the city’s reputation for supporting the arts and providing diverse programming for its residents. The return of Movies with the City highlights both the theater’s ongoing role in the community and the city’s commitment to accessible recreational options.
