Moss Bluff, Louisiana — The Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Saturday afternoon in Moss Bluff. Deputies responded to a residence on South Perkins Ferry Road around 2:30 p.m., following a report of a shooting.

Upon arrival, deputies discovered one individual deceased at the scene. According to authorities, one person has been taken into custody in connection with the incident.
