Mississippi Woman Dies in Head-On Crash in Louisiana on LA 19
Louisiana – According to Louisiana State Police, Troopers from LSP Troop A responded to a fatal crash on LA 19 north of LA 422 in East Feliciana Parish shortly after 7:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022. Aedrianna L. Butler, 22, of Woodville, Mississippi, was killed in the accident.
According to the preliminary investigation, the crash occurred while Butler was driving a Ford Focus north on LA 19. Butler’s vehicle crossed the centerline and collided head-on with a Nissan Rogue for unknown reasons. Following the collision, both vehicles exited the road before coming to a stop.
Despite being properly restrained, Butler was killed in the crash and was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the Nissan Rogue was also restrained properly and was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment. Impairment is not suspected of being a factor in this crash.
The investigation is still ongoing, according to Louisiana State Police.
