The Calcasieu Parish School Board has announced that Maplewood Elementary and Maplewood Middle will be closed today, October 20, 2021, due to a power outage in the area caused by an automobile accident. The Calcasieu Parish School Board anticipates reopening school tomorrow, October 21, 2021.
