Mandatory Water Conservation Order Issued by the City of Sulphur on June 26

Sulphur, Louisiana – The City of Sulphur announced on June 26, 2022, that due to mechanical issues at the Verdine Street Water Plant, residents should conserve water until further notice. They stated that water conservation is critical for rebuilding and maintaining pressure in their systems in order to avoid issuing a boil advisory.

When the Mandatory Water Conservation Order is lifted, citizens will be notified.
