Mandatory Evacuation Order Issued For Residents on Some Roads North of the Singer Area in Beauregard Parish

Beauregard Parish, Louisiana - A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for residents on some roads north of the Singer Area.

During the evening of August 23, 2023, the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office issued a mandatory evacuation order to all residents north of the Singer area on Fred Cloessner Road, Bob Cooley Road, Ira Cooley Road, John Bowman Road, and the North end of Newlin Cemetery Road, Mitchell Loop, Kenneth Dunn Road, and Robert Slaydon Road.

Authorities indicated that fire conditions have intensified and now threatening residences in this area. BPSO is asking that residents cooperate with the deputies who will be coming door to door to help.
