During the evening of August 25, 2023, the Beauregard Parish Sheriff's Office issued a mandatory evacuation order for the Bancroft community due to approaching wildfires.
This notice affects all residents.
BPSO and Louisiana State Police indicated that it is of utmost importance to evacuate south on LA 389 towards DeQuincy.
