It is important for drivers to make responsible decisions while operating a motor vehicle, as these choices can have a significant impact on their safety and the safety of others. Louisiana State Troopers advise drivers to never drive while under the influence, to ensure that all passengers are using proper restraints, and to avoid any distractions that could divert their attention from the road. These actions can often be the deciding factor between a safe journey and a devastating accident.
