Louisiana Woman Dies Fatal Mobile Home Fire Marking the First Fatal Fire in 2023

Bush, Louisiana- The Louisiana State Fire Marshal's Office (LASFM) reported that deputies are investigating the first fatal fire of 2023 in Bush, Louisiana.

According to authorities, just before 1 a.m., St. Tammany Fire District #9 responded to a mobile home fire in the 28000 block of Highway 40 in Bush, Louisiana. Sadly, firefighters discovered a female victim inside.

Stacey Glass, 51, was identified as the victim by the St. Tammany Coroner's Office.

The investigation into the origin and cause of this fire is ongoing, and further information will be published as it becomes available.
