Denham Springs, Louisiana – A Louisiana woman was arrested on suspicion of robbery, drug possession, and other crimes in Denham Springs.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on August 15, 2023, the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office received a report of a robbery in progress at a convenience store located on LA Hwy. 16 in Denham Springs. Promptly responding to the call, deputies arrived on the scene to find 40-year-old Julia Marie Hallier attempting to flee on foot. With swift action, they were able to apprehend her.
Further investigation by the LPSO Armed Robbery & Burglary detectives revealed that Hallier had caused injury to an employee while stealing cash and subsequently fleeing the premises. Upon arresting Hallier, deputies also found that she had methamphetamine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia in her possession.
As a result of her actions, Hallier will be processed into the Livingston Parish Detention Center and charged with several offenses, including Simple Robbery, Illegal Possession of SCH I, Illegal Possession of SCH II, and Illegal Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
