Louisiana Woman Arrested for Vehicle Theft After Allegedly Taking Her Boyfriend’s Vehicle Without Permission

Jeff Davis Parish, Louisiana – The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff’s Office reported on October 20, 2022, that on October 9, 2022, deputies responded to Grand Marais Road in Roanoke, Louisiana to investigate a report of auto theft.
The complainant’s girlfriend was the suspect. According to deputies, the girlfriend was given permission to drive her boyfriend to work and was expected to return the vehicle promptly.

Shandi Lynn Tarver Guidry, 36, of Trailer Town Road in Jennings, Louisiana, was found in the vehicle and arrested by the Acadia Sheriff’s Office the same day.

Guidry was transported from the Acadia Sheriff’s Office and placed into the Jeff Davis Parish Jail on October 19, 2022, for theft of a vehicle and an outstanding contempt of court warrant.

An arrest is an indication that probable cause exists to believe the subject was involved in the offense alleged. A person is innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
